Aquatic Massage Therapists listed on this site are Registered Massage Therapists (R.M.T.) licensed in the Province of Ontario. They have completed a minimum of 50 post-graduate training hours and 30 Aquatic Massage Therapy treatments before providing treatment to the public.
Aquatic Massage Therapy is provided under the scope of practice for R.M.T.s in Ontario. Receipts issued for Aquatic Massage Therapy are accepted by extended health insurance plans that provide coverage for Massage Therapy.

Claudia is the founder and lead instructor for The Waters. She has pioneered the development of Aquatic Massage Therapy as a modality within the scope of practice for Registered Massage Therapists in Ontario. This means that receipts issued for Aquatic Massage Therapy are accepted for coverage by extended health insurance plans. Claudia offers Aquatic Massage Therapy treatments in a serene outdoor warm pool in the Old Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake as well as in an indoor warm pool at her clinic in downtown Toronto.
A Registered Massage Therapist since 1981, Claudia has a unique breadth of experience. She taught Sports Massage for over nine years at the Sutherland-Chan School as well as the Kikkawa College. Claudia has worked extensively with a wide range of athletes over the years, including nationally ranked runners, race walkers and triathletes. She has accompanied the National Ballet of Canada on tour as the company massage therapist and has volunteered her time to the Ontario Massage Therapists Association (OMTA) as both president and vice president (1988-1990). She also holds certifications in Shiatsu, WATSU, Jahara Technique, reflexology and LaStone Therapy.
